Reality is just a running equation with set rules and directions. When you observe something, you run the equation to whatever you are observing, causing it to come into reality. The equation is there whether we observe it or not, but until observed, it is only a probability with a list of variables offering specific outcomes. To influence the outcome of the equation, you change it’s variables before you observe it.
